Job summary

Aviva is recruiting a Desk Based Loss Adjuster in Norwich to lead household claims from instruction to settlement, focusing on cost-effective reinstatement and excellent customer care. The role combines technical claims handling with empathetic service, supported by a network of suppliers and field colleagues.

You will interpret building pathology, coordinate multiple stakeholders, and manage claims up to £50,000, working effectively in a virtual, yet collaborative environment.

Qualifications

• Experience in Residential property insurance, loss adjusting or claims management.
• Knowledge of building pathology and reinstatement techniques.
• Ability to interpret scope of works from photos, video, and remote tools.
• Experience managing claims up to £50,000.

Responsibilities

• Manage household claims up to £50,000 from instruction to settlement.
• Coordinate stakeholders, suppliers, DR&R, and other parties to ensure timely outcomes.
• Work virtually with field-based colleagues and a trusted supplier network.
