Travelodge is seeking a Designate Assistant Hotel Manager to lead hotel teams across the Essex area, including Harwich, Southend-On-Sea and Harlow. You will coach staff, recruit new team members and ensure brand standards for food and service are met.

Responsibilities

• Lead, coach and motivate hotel teams to deliver outstanding customer experiences
• Create personal development plans for career growth of team members
• Recruit and induct new staff with warm, welcoming onboarding
• Ensure food is prepared and presented to brand standard (Bar Cafe hotels) and upsell to maximise revenue
• Review customer feedback and implement targeted action plans for improvement
• Maintain cleanliness and compliance of rooms and public areas
• Oversee repairs, maintenance and reporting
• Manage rosters, banking and health & safety responsibilities
• Drive team engagement to perform and earn incentive rewards
