Job summary

Travelodge Watford Central is seeking an Assistant Hotel Manager to lead and develop hotel teams, ensuring exceptional customer service and daily operations. The role covers recruitment, induction, food service standards, and driving guest satisfaction in a fast-paced environment.

You will manage rosters, budgets, and health & safety, while supporting incentives and KPI targets to achieve superior hotel performance. This is a full-time or part-time on-site position.

Qualifications

• You are friendly, engaging and welcoming by nature and have previously led a team in a service led customer facing industry.
• Food & beverage experience would be advantageous if applying for a Bar Cafe hotel.
• You thrive in a fast paced and evolving environment where you are responsible for delivering the objectives and direction of our operations through your team.

Responsibilities

• Lead, coach and motivate hotel teams to deliver outstanding customer experience.
• Create personal development plans for career growth with team members.
• Recruit and induct new team members, ensuring a warm welcome and smooth onboarding.
• Ensure food is prepared and presented to brand standards (Bar Cafe hotels).
• Maximise food & beverage sales by cross-selling and upselling (Bar Cafe hotels).
• Review customer feedback to craft targeted improvement action plans.
