Travelodge Worcester is seeking an Assistant Hotel Manager for a full-time role. You will lead and motivate hotel teams, coach staff, and drive customer satisfaction across service delivery.

The role includes recruitment, inductions, and developing personal growth plans for team members. You will ensure brand-standard food presentation (Bar Cafe where applicable), upsell opportunities, and address guest feedback with targeted actions.

Qualifications

• Experience leading a service-focused team.
• Strong customer service orientation.
• Ability to coach and develop team members.
• Experience in Bar Cafe hotel is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Lead, coach and motivate hotel teams.
• Create personal development plans for team members.
• Recruit new staff and conduct welcoming inductions.
• Ensure food is prepared and presented to brand standards.
• Maximise food and beverage sales through upselling.
• Review customer feedback and implement action plans.
• Oversee room and public area cleaning to company standards.
• Report maintenance and repairs as needed.
• Manage rosters, banking and health & safety responsibilities.
• Drive engagement through incentive schemes for staff.
