Job summary

TeacherActive is working with a large secondary school in Trafford to recruit a qualified Design and Technology Teacher. The role is full-time and long-term from October, teaching across KS3/KS4 with planning and delivery of engaging lessons to develop students' practical skills and confidence.

The successful candidate will hold QTS with a D&T specialism (ECTs welcome), have strong curriculum knowledge, and exhibit excellent classroom management and communication.

Qualifications

• QTS with a Design and Technology specialism (ECTs welcome)
• Experience teaching KS3/KS4
• Strong knowledge of the D&T curriculum
• Excellent classroom and behaviour management
• Strong communication and organisational skills
• Positive and adaptable approach to teaching

Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver engaging Design and Technology lessons across KS3 and KS4
• Teach both practical and theoretical aspects of D&T
• Support students in developing practical skills and subject knowledge
