Job summary

Barratt Redrow PLC seeks a Civil/Building Engineer to coordinate external design consultants, secure approvals, and deliver production information in line with planning, NHBC, and building regulations across a variety of sites. You will manage design programmes, monitor budgets and professional fees, brief consultants, and present progress at meetings while maintaining tight cost controls.

The role offers hybrid working between offices, sites and home, plus a benefits package including bonus,

Qualifications

• Qualified as a Civil / Building Engineer or equivalent level with relevant experience
• Good knowledge of Building Regulations, NHBC and related legislation
• Ability to lead multi-disciplinary teams and work under pressure

Responsibilities

• Coordinate external design consultants and obtain building control approvals
• Discharge planning conditions and ensure production information aligns with budget
• Prepare design programmes and present at progression meetings
• Ensure NHBC/Building Regulations compliance and timely information release
• Monitor professional fees during project execution
• Attend site progress meetings and assist site operations
