Information at a Glance

We are seeking a Commercial Manager to join us on a new Data Centre project. The role will include Preconstruction and Production stages.

Job Purpose and Scope
  • To lead commercial management over a Data Centre project
  • Optimise projects' net profitability and cash performance
  • Lead & manage & advise on matters relating to Client Contract & Value
  • Lead & manage the Procurement of Subcontractors and the Contractual & Financial management of Subcontractors
  • Lead in the identification and management of risks and opportunities
  • Provide accurate reports and forecasts of activity and net margin, utilising company tools & procedures
  • Recruit, develop and manage commercial team members
Essential
  • Emotional resilience and flexible mindset
  • Previous experience working on Data Centre projects
  • Strong Commercial awareness and focus on results
  • In depth Technical, Legal and Commercial knowledge
  • MRICS or MCIOB
  • Experience of managing and avoiding disputes
  • Experience of Responding to adjudications and preparing Referrals
  • Demonstrate strong attention to detail and produce accurate work
  • Proactive and confident communicator & shares knowledge
  • In depth experience working as a QS with a main contractor
