These roles represent a fantastic opportunity to be an integral part of the transformation within a UNESCO World Heritage Site and UNESCO World Heritage Spa, around Britain’s only thermal springs, within an area of outstanding natural beauty.
We are seeking experienced Project Managers with a proven track record in delivering a diverse programme of major or technically complex construction projects from feasibility and technical design, through to construction and end-user handover. Candidates will require a strong technical knowledge of design, contract management, planning and technical construction based project management, to join our award‑winning multi‑disciplinary team. Working as part of the wider Sustainable Communities team you will need to be a team player with excellent stakeholder and relevant design and construction project management skills.
• Proven experience managing major or technically complex construction programmes. • Strong technical knowledge of design, contract management, planning and construction based project management. • Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills. • Ability to work across a diverse portfolio of projects from Highways (Public Realm), Corporate and Commercial Estates, Housing and Compliance Maintenance. • Commitment to Bath and North East Somerset Council’s values of equality, diversity and inclusion.
