Job summary

B&M Retail is seeking a Deputy Store Manager to support a high-performing store in the Doncaster area. This hands-on leadership role involves supporting the Store Manager, owning the shop floor, and stepping up to lead in their absence.

Flexibility across days, evenings, weekends and bank holidays is essential. You will coach and develop your team, drive KPIs, and focus on delivering outstanding customer experiences in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Experience leading a fast-paced retail or high turnover store.
• Proven ability to coach and develop team members.
• Strong customer service focus and frontline leadership.
• Confident to step in for Store Manager when needed.
• Willingness to travel across the Doncaster area as required.

Responsibilities

• Support the Store Manager in driving sales, performance and standards.
• Own the shop floor and lead by example daily.
• Step up to run the store in the Store Manager’s absence.

Initially this will be a designate role to cover Doncaster and could cover several of our stores across the area. Being flexible to travel across this area would be essential for this role. This is a hands-on leadership role where you’ll support the Store Manager, take ownership across the shop floor, and step up to lead the store in their absence. As a leader of your store, flexibility across days, evenings, weekends and bank holidays will be essential.
