Job summary

B&M Retail in Tonbridge is looking for a Deputy Store Manager to support a high-performing store, drive sales and uphold exceptional standards on the shop floor.

You’ll lead by example, coach your team, and step in for the Store Manager in their absence, with flexibility across days, evenings, weekends and bank holidays.

This hands-on leadership role offers clear progression to Store Manager and a benefits package including staff discounts and access to our colleague portal.

Initially this will be a designate role to cover Tonbridge and could cover several of our stores across the area. Being flexible to travel across this area would be essential for this role. This is a hands-on leadership role where you’ll support the Store Manager, take ownership across the shop floor, and step up to lead the store in their absence. As a leader of your store, flexibility across days, evenings, weekends and bank holidays will be essential.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Support the Store Manager in driving sales, performance and store standards
• Take ownership of the shop floor, leading by example every day
• Step up to run the store in the Store Manager’s absence
• Lead, coach and motivate your team to deliver their best
• Drive KPIs and identify opportunities to improve performance
