Job summary
Transforming Support is seeking a Deputy Service Manager to lead its large supported living service in Chipstead. You will work closely with the Registered Manager, supporting adults with learning disabilities, autism and complex needs, and guide a team to deliver tailored, high-quality support aligned to individual strengths and choices.
You will lead daily operations, ensure governance and service improvements, and role-model collaborative leadership across multidisciplinary teams.
Qualifications
- Experience managing or supervising a team.
- Experience supporting adults with autism or learning disabilities.
Responsibilities
- Support the Registered Manager with daily service operations and staff oversight.
- Guide, support and motivate colleagues to deliver high standards.
- Provide visible leadership and direction within a busy supported living service.
- Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams and partner organisations for effective support.
- Promote person-centred, recovery-focused approaches to wellbeing.
- Assist with assessments, new placements and safe transitions.
- Monitor quality and governance through audits and improvement plans.
- Contribute to staffing decisions and service development.
- Assist in budget monitoring and resource management.
- Participate in on-call rota and night checks when required.
