Job summary

Leaders in Care is looking for a Deputy Manager to join a specialist care provider in Leicester, supporting adults with complex needs and driving quality and person-centred support. You will lead a large team, work with senior leaders, and help develop staff and the service.

The ideal candidate will have experience in senior care, a passion for development, and the ability to influence service quality. This is a full-time position with strong leadership opportunities and ongoing training.

Qualifications

• This role requires experience supporting adults with learning disabilities, autism, mental health needs or complex behaviours.
• You'll be a visible leader, coaching a large staff team and ensuring high standards of care.
• Prior experience in a senior care or management role is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Leading, motivating and developing the staff team.
• Supporting the Registered Manager with the day-to-day running of the service.
• Championing Positive Behaviour Support and least restrictive practice.
• Coaching and mentoring staff to improve performance and confidence.
• Driving quality improvement and maintaining high standards of care.
• Supporting safeguarding, governance and service development.
• Promoting a positive, person-centred culture across the service.
• Working closely with senior leaders to identify and implement improvements.
• Ensuring individuals are supported to achieve positive outcomes and greater independence.
