Job summary

Sterling Cross Trading LLP seeks a Deputy Manager to oversee multiple supported living services for adults with learning disabilities and autism in Gateshead. You will work with teams to sustain high-quality care while promoting independence.

Ideal candidates are experienced Team Leaders or Deputy Managers aiming for broader operational responsibilities and progression toward CQC Registered Manager status.

Qualifications

Experience in supported living for adults with learning disabilities and autism.
Willing to progress towards CQC Registered Manager status.
Knowledge of financial management and budget oversight.
Unrestricted UK Right to Work; no visa sponsorship offered.
Level 5 Health & Social Care qualification or working towards it.

Responsibilities

Deputy Manager - Learning Disabilities Supported Living

Are you an experienced Team Leader ready to take the next step in your career?

An established supported living provider is looking for a Deputy Manager to oversee a cluster of services supporting adults with learning disabilities and autism across Gateshead.

This is a great opportunity for an experienced Team Leader or Deputy Manager looking to progress into a broader operational role.

You'll support the effective running of multiple services, working with teams to maintain high standards of care and support while ensuring the people supported are able to live as independently as possible.

Experience of supported living, learning disabilities and/or autism is important, with experience of more complex support needs desirable.

You do not need to be CQC registered, but you should be willing to work towards registration and develop your leadership experience.

Person specification

* Level 5 Health & Social Care or working towards
* Willing to progress towards CQC Registered Manager status
* Significant experience working within supported living, particularly learning disability and autism
* Knowledge of financial management
* Unrestricted UK Right to Work; please note, there is no visa sponsorship support available for this role
