Overview

Join us as a Deputy Nursery Manager at The Edgware Gan, where you'll play a key role in providing exceptional childcare while supporting the daily operations of the nursery. As second-in-command, you'll work closely with the Nursery Manager, leading the team and creating a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment for children to thrive.

Responsibilities
  • Build meaningful relationships with parents and carers.
  • Oversee planning and activities in line with the EYFS framework.
  • Support and mentor the nursery team, encouraging professional growth.
  • Conduct daily risk assessments to maintain a safe environment.
  • Ensure compliance with safeguarding practices and statutory requirements.
  • Handle administrative tasks, including registers, rotas, and child records.
Qualifications
  • Level 3 (or higher) in Early Years.
  • Three years of experience in childcare, with strong leadership skills.
  • Solid understanding of EYFS and Ofsted guidelines.
  • Excellent communication, organisation, and a passion for making a difference.
