Job summary

Jupiter Recruitment is seeking an experienced Nurse Deputy Home Manager for a brand new care home in Swaffham, Norfolk. The role is a permanent, full-time position (40 hours per week) with day shifts and a salary of £50,000 per annum DOE.

You will support the Home Manager and ensure high standards of resident care in a modern setting. The successful candidate will have an active NMC PIN, be an RGN or RMN, and demonstrate strong knowledge of CQC standards, leadership, and collaborative skills

Qualifications

• Qualified as an RGN or RMN with an active NMC PIN.
• Deputy Home Manager experience preferred.
• Good knowledge of CQC standards.
• Ability to liaise with external professionals, families and staff.

Responsibilities

• Support the Home Manager and run the home in the absence of the Home Manager.
• Manage and be responsible for all service aspects in line with CQC requirements.
• Ensure residents receive high standards of professional care and promote growth and independence.
• Be flexible and cover floor duties or work alongside nurses as needed.

An exciting new job opportunity is now available for an experience Nurse Deputy Home Manager to work in a brand new care home opening soon based in the Swaffham, Norfolk area. You will be working for one of UK's leading health care providers

This is a modern, purpose-built care home which provides residential, dementia, respite, and convalescence care, offering a comfortable and supportive environment tailored to the individual needs of each resident

**To be considered for this role you must be qualified as an RGN or RMN Nurse with an active NMC Pin**

As the Deputy Manager your key responsibilities include:

• Support the Home Manager and deal with the day to day running of the home in the absence of the Home Manager
• Alongside the Home Manager, you will manage and have responsibility for all aspects of the service in line with CQC requirements
• You will ensure the service users are receiving the highest standards of professional support experiencing life opportunities helping to promote growth and independence
• Flexible person as may not always be in the office but would be expected to cover the floor or work alongside the nurses

The following skills and experience would be preferred and beneficial for the role:

• Previous Deputy Home Manager experience
• The ability to engage with the service users to understand their needs in order to provide excellent services of care
• Good working knowledge of CQC standards.
• The ability to build and maintain excellent working relationships with external care professionals, families, visitors and staffing teams
• Good clinical skills
• Promote ownership of care programs by fully involving service users and their families in developing, agreeing and evaluating care programs within the home

The successful Deputy Manager will receive an excellent salary of £50,000 per annum DOE. This exciting position is a permanent full time role for 40 hours a week working on day shifts. In return for our hard work and commitment you will receive the following generous benefits:
