Job summary

Jupiter Recruitment is assisting a brand new care home in Swaffham, Norfolk to find an experienced Nurse Deputy Home Manager. The role requires an RGN or RMN with an active NMC pin and offers a permanent, full-time position for 40 hours per week on day shifts.

The successful candidate will support the Home Manager, oversee service delivery in line with CQC standards, and strive to promote growth and independence for residents.

Qualifications

• Qualified as RGN or RMN with an active NMC pin.
• Experience as Deputy Home Manager is preferred.
• Good working knowledge of CQC standards.

Responsibilities

• Support the Home Manager and manage day-to-day running in their absence.
• Co-manage all service aspects in line with CQC requirements.
• Ensure residents receive high-quality care and life-enhancing opportunities.
• Be flexible and cover floor duties or work with nurses as needed.

An exciting new job opportunity is now available for an experience Nurse Deputy Home Manager to work in a brand new care home opening soon based in the Swaffham, Norfolk area. You will be working for one of UK's leading health care providers

This is a modern, purpose-built care home which provides residential, dementia, respite, and convalescence care , offering a comfortable and supportive environment tailored to the individual needs of each resident

As the Deputy Manager your key responsibilities include:

• Support the Home Manager and deal with the day to day running of the home in the absence of the Home Manager
• Alongside the Home Manager, you will manage and have responsibility for all aspects of the service in line with CQC requirements
• You will ensure the service users are receiving the highest standards of professional support experiencing life opportunities helping to promote growth and independence
• Flexible person as may not always be in the office but would be expected to cover the floor or work alongside the nurses

The following skills and experience would be preferred and beneficial for the role:

• Previous Deputy Home Manager experience
• The ability to engage with the service users to understand their needs in order to provide excellent services of care
• Good working knowledge of CQC standards.
• The ability to build and maintain excellent working relationships with external care professionals, families, visitors and staffing teams
• Good clinical skills
• Promote ownership of care programs by fully involving service users and their families in developing, agreeing and evaluating care programs within the home

The successful Deputy Manager will receive an excellent salary of £50,000 per annum DOE. This exciting position is a permanent full time role for 40 hours a week working on day shifts. In return for our hard work and commitment you will receive the following generous benefits:
