Job summary

TipTopJob is seeking an experienced Nurse Deputy Home Manager to launch a brand-new care home in Swaffham, Norfolk. You will support the Home Manager and help run the service in line with CQC standards, delivering high-quality residential, dementia, respite, and convalescence care.

Candidates must be an RGN or RMN with an active NMC PIN. The role is full-time, 40 hours per week on day shifts, with a salary of GBP50,000 per year DOE, and a comprehensive benefits package including DBS and PIN

Qualifications

• Experience working in care home settings is advantageous.
• Strong understanding of CQC standards and compliance.

Responsibilities

• Support the Home Manager and aid day-to-day running of the home.
• Assist in managing all aspects of the service in line with CQC requirements.
• Ensure residents receive high-quality care and opportunities for growth and independence.
• Flexibility to cover floors and work alongside nurses as needed.

An exciting new job opportunity is now available for an experience Nurse Deputy Home Manager to work in a brand new care home opening soon based in the Swaffham, Norfolk area. You will be working for one of UKs leading health care providers.

This is a modern, purpose:built care home which provides residential, dementia, respite, and convalescence care, offering a comfortable and supportive environment tailored to the individual needs of each resident.

To be considered for this role you must be qualified as an RGN or RMN Nurse with an active NMC Pin.

As The Deputy Manager Your Key Responsibilities Include

• Support the Home Manager and deal with the day to day running of the home in the absence of the Home Manager
• Alongside the Home Manager, you will manage and have responsibility for all aspects of the service in line with CQC requirements
• You will ensure the service users are receiving the highest standards of professional support experiencing life opportunities helping to promote growth and independence
• Flexible person as may not always be in the office but would be expected to cover the floor or work alongside the nurses

The following skills and experience would be preferred and beneficial for the role:

• Previous Deputy Home Manager experience
• The ability to engage with the service users to understand their needs in order to provide excellent services of care
• Good working knowledge of CQC standards.
• The ability to build and maintain excellent working relationships with external care professionals, families, visitors and staffing teams
• Good clinical skills
• Promote ownership of care programs by fully involving service users and their families in developing, agreeing and evaluating care programs within the home
