Job summary

CS UK Recruitment Ltd is recruiting a Nurse Deputy Home Manager for a caring nursing home in the Wroxham area. You will support the Home Manager, lead nursing and care staff, and ensure excellent clinical governance and person-centred care for residents.

You must be a Registered Nurse with an active NMC PIN; deputy home manager experience is preferred; knowledge of CQC standards is required. The role is full-time (40 hours) with a salary of £50,000 per year plus benefits.

To be considered for this position you must be qualified as a Registered Nurse with a current active NMC Pin

As the Deputy Manager your key responsibilities include:

• Supporting and deputising for the Home Manager, you will provide inspiring leadership to nursing and care colleagues and oversee the delivery of high quality clinical and pastoral care
• You will be the homes nurse expert and your role will be a combination of utilising your nursing skills as well as your managerial and leadership skills
• You will focus on residents with complex needs, so it's vital that you can conform with the latest guidelines, take far-reaching decisions and maintain the highest levels of clinical governance, whilst regularly auditing practices and procedures
• Care plan development and assessments
• Look after all our residents alongside the team and offer personalised centred care

The following skills and experience would be preferred and beneficial for the role:

• Previous Deputy Home Manager experience
• The ability to engage with the service users to understand their needs in order to provide excellent services of care
• Good working knowledge of CQC standards
• The ability to build and maintain excellent working relationships with external care professionals, families, visitors and staffing teams
• Good clinical skills
• Promote ownership of care programs by fully involving service users and their families in developing, agreeing and evaluating care programs within the home
