Job summary

TipTopJob is recruiting a Deputy Home Manager for a brand new care home in the Swaffham area. You will support the Home Manager, oversee daily operations and ensure care services meet CQC standards.

The role requires an RGN or RMN with an active NMC PIN and offers a permanent full-time position, 40 hours per week, day shifts, and a competitive GBP50,000 per year DOE with benefits.

Qualifications

• Qualified as RGN or RMN with active NMC PIN.
• Deputy Home Manager experience preferred.
• Good knowledge of CQC standards.

Responsibilities

• Support the Home Manager and run the home in their absence.
• Manage service in line with CQC requirements and maintain high care standards.
• Ensure service users receive high quality professional care and promote independence.
• Be flexible to cover floors and work alongside nurses.

An exciting new job opportunity is now available for an experience Nurse Deputy Home Manager to work in a brand new care home opening soon based in the Swaffham, Norfolk area. You will be working for one of UKs leading health care providers

This is a modern, purpose:built care home which provides residential, dementia, respite, and convalescence care, offering a comfortable and supportive environment tailored to the individual needs of each resident

To be considered for this role you must be qualified as an RGN or RMN Nurse with an active NMC Pin

As The Deputy Manager Your Key Responsibilities Include

• Support the Home Manager and deal with the day to day running of the home in the absence of the Home Manager
• Alongside the Home Manager, you will manage and have responsibility for all aspects of the service in line with CQC requirements
• You will ensure the service users are receiving the highest standards of professional support experiencing life opportunities helping to promote growth and independence
• Flexible person as may not always be in the office but would be expected to cover the floor or work alongside the nurses

The following skills and experience would be preferred and beneficial for the role:

• Previous Deputy Home Manager experience
• The ability to engage with the service users to understand their needs in order to provide excellent services of care
• Good working knowledge of CQC standards.
• The ability to build and maintain excellent working relationships with external care professionals, families, visitors and staffing teams
• Good clinical skills
• Promote ownership of care programs by fully involving service users and their families in developing, agreeing and evaluating care programs within the home

Benefits
