Qualifications

  • Experience in SENCO or SEND provision necessary.
  • Strong leadership, mentoring, and team management abilities are essential.

The Role

We are looking for an experienced and passionate Early Years Deputy Manager to support the Nursery Manager in delivering exceptional care and education. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with strong leadership skills who enjoys mentoring and inspiring a dedicated team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support the Nursery Manager in day-to-day operations.
  • Lead and motivate staff, fostering a collaborative and positive team culture.
  • Ensure the highest standards of care, learning, and safeguarding are maintained.
  • Oversee planning, assessment, and delivery of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS).
  • Support SENCO initiatives and inclusion for children with additional needs.
  • Monitor and maintain compliance with health and safety regulations.
  • Engage with parents, carers, and the wider community to promote nursery services.
Requirements
  • Level 3 (or above) Early Years qualification.
  • Proven experience in an early years leadership or senior practitioner role.
  • Experience in SENCO or SEND provision.
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills.
  • Strong leadership, mentoring, and team management abilities.
  • Current DBS check or willingness to undergo one.
