Job summary

Caring Homes Group Ltd in Cheltenham is recruiting a Deputy Manager for Whittington House, a 50-bed nursing, dementia and residential care home. The role is permanent, 40 hours per week, fully supernumerary, with a salary of £50K per annum and a benefits package; a valid NMC PIN is required.

As Deputy Manager you will assist the Home Manager, maintain high standards of care, develop personalised care plans, mentor staff and drive audits.

Qualifications

• Qualified Nurse with a valid NMC Pin.
• Proven experience in a clinical leadership role.
• Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• A genuine passion for providing personalised, high-quality care.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Home Manager in the day-to-day running of the nursing home.
• Ensure the highest standards of care are maintained, meeting regulatory and company standards.
• Develop and implement personalised care plans in collaboration with residents, families, and the healthcare team.
• Lead, mentor, and support nursing and care staff to deliver exceptional care.
• Conduct regular assessments and audits to maintain and improve care standards.
• Act as a point of contact for residents, families, and external healthcare professionals in the absence of the Home Manager.
