Job summary

Vale View Heights Care Home is seeking a Clinical Deputy Manager to lead the day-to-day clinical operations, supervise a team of nurses and healthcare assistants, and ensure high-quality, person-centred care for residents.

You will work closely with the Home Manager to maintain regulatory standards and governance while supporting staff development and continuity of care. This role requires an active NMC PIN and a proven track record in a similar nursing home setting.

• Proven experience in a similar role within a nursing home.
• Strong leadership and management skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Home Manager in the operational management of the home.
• Provide clinical leadership and supervision to the nursing team.
• Ensure the delivery of person-centred care and the assessment of residents' needs.
• Develop, implement, and evaluate individual care plans for residents.
• Monitor and maintain health, safety, and security of the residents and the facility.
• Act as a role model for good clinical and care governance practice.
• Provide support and training to staff to improve care standards.
• Deputize for the Home Manager in their absence.
