Job summary

Westgate Healthcare presents an exciting opportunity for a Clinical Deputy Manager at Burford House Care Home. This full-time, permanent role focuses on supporting the Home Manager, leading nursing and care teams and maintaining high clinical standards.

Expect 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday, 8am–5pm, with emphasis on safeguarding residents, development of staff and maintaining regulatory compliance within a family-owned care provider.

Qualifications

• Registered General Nurse with a current NMC PIN.
• Minimum 3 years management experience within a care home setting.
• Strong clinical skills with understanding of CQC requirements, safeguarding, HSE and related legislation.
• Excellent communication and a positive, flexible attitude.
• Well organised with the ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Support the Home Manager with the day-to-day running of the home.
• Lead, supervise and inspire nursing and care teams.
• Provide strong clinical leadership and guidance.
• Oversee care planning and clinical standards.
• Ensure compliance with legislation, regulations and policies.
• Support staff recruitment, training and development.
• Complete and oversee clinical audits (medication and care plans).
• Build relationships with residents, families and healthcare professionals.
• Act as a role model for high-quality care and leadership.
• Cover the Home Manager in their absence.

Are you an experienced Deputy Manager with a strong clinical background and a passion for delivering exceptional care? Burford House Care Home is looking for a confident and compassionate Clinical Deputy Manager to join our team on a full-time, permanent basis.

This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced deputy who is ready to play a key leadership role within the home, working alongside the Home Manager to ensure residents receive the highest standards of care, support and dignity.

About the role

What you'll actually be doing

• Support the Home Manager with the day-to-day running of the home

Required Criteria
