A leading hotel group in Honiton is seeking a Deputy Head Housekeeper. This role involves supporting the Head Housekeeper in managing a dedicated housekeeping team and ensuring exceptional cleanliness and guest experience. The ideal candidate will lead by example, conduct performance reviews, and coordinate with maintenance teams. We are currently looking for an Deputy Head Housekeeper to support our Head Housekeeper with the efficient running of our housekeeping team. Some may say the housekeeping team are the backbone of the hotel operation. For our housekeeping team it is not just about making beds, it is about having an eye for detail and ensuring that our guests have a memorable experience. As Deputy Head Housekeeper you will be assisting the Head Housekeeper by supporting and developing a team of Room Attendants and Linen Porters. You will be required to set an example, encourage their development, and carry out monthly performance reviews. You will be proactive and hands on, leading the team from the front-line to deliver exceptional levels of standards across all areas of the hotel. On a day to day basis, you will play a key role with the preparation and cleanliness of all bedrooms and public areas. In the absence of the Head Housekeeper, you will take responsibility for ensuring the condition of all furnishings, fittings and equipment. You will need to liaise with the maintenance team and manage all linen, deliveries & stock.
