Job summary

Get Golfing CIO, one of the UK's fastest-growing golf and hospitality operators, is seeking a Deputy Course Manager. The role links senior management with the greenkeeping team, requiring a flexible, self-motivated leader who can teach, train and guide staff with empathy and patience.

The successful candidate will have greenkeeping skills, agronomic knowledge and a solid understanding of Health & Safety, COSHH and related legislation.

Qualifications

Educated to NVQ Level 3 or equivalent.
PA1, PA2 and 6a Spraying certificates.
Experience with irrigation maintenance, repair and use.
Knowledge of machinery maintenance.
Excellent communication skills and IT literacy.
Ability to lead and motivate staff, and step in for the Course Manager.

Responsibilities

Lead and motivate the greenkeeping team.
Provide teaching, training and guidance to team members.
Act as a link between senior management and greenkeeping staff.
Ensure health and safety compliance (COSHH and related legislation).
Oversee irrigation and machinery maintenance.
Contribute to high standards of course presentation.
