Job summary

Get Golfing is seeking a Deputy Course Manager to join our golf and hospitality operation. The role is a key bridge between senior management and the greenkeeping team, requiring a self-motivated leader who can train and guide staff with empathy and patience.

Candidates should have strong greenkeeping skills, agronomic knowledge and a good understanding of Health & Safety, COSHH and related legislation, with NVQ level 3 or higher and spraying certifications.

Qualifications

• Educated to a minimum NVQ level 3 or equivalent.
• PA1/2 & 6a Spraying certificates.
• Experience with irrigation maintenance, repair and use.
• Knowledge of machinery maintenance.
• Excellent communication skills & IT literacy.
• Ability to lead and motivate staff, along with and in the absence of the Course Manager.

Responsibilities

• Deputy role links senior management and the greenskeeping team.
• Lead and guide members of the team with empathy, humility and patience.
• Teach, train and supervise staff on site.
