Job summary

Flow Sports Personnel Ltd, on behalf of our client, is seeking a Deputy Manager for a busy centre in Cheltenham. You will take accountability in the absence of the General Manager and aim to progress to the General Manager in Waiting within 12–18 months.

The role blends frontline leadership with back‑of‑house support, coaching the team, driving customer experience, and delivering financial targets while maintaining a safe, fun environment.

Qualifications

• a minimum of eighteen months experience in a customer-facing management role ideally within the leisure, hospitality, or retail industry
• evidence of delivering on financial targets, driving business and sales
• a passion for people including experience of coaching and developing your team
• be fanatical about customer service
• have ambition for success
• be willing to work nights and weekends

Responsibilities

• coaching and mentoring the team on shift, to ensure centre is a safe and fun environment for customers
• hands on across all areas of the busy centre
• support the General Manager with back of house duties, as well as running an exceptional operation front of house
• delivering financial targets and service standards
