Qualifications

• Management or supervisory experience in bus/transport (preferred)
• Excellent computer skills
• Knowledge of Road Traffic Act and Employment legislation
• Ability to lead and inspire teams to follow best practice
• Knowledge of employment legislation
• Excellent planning and prioritising skills
• Self-motivated with a positive approach to change
• Excellent customer focus

Responsabilités

• Lead & develop frontline teams, mentoring and recognising contributions
• Oversee driver and team performance; implement development plans
• Coach & train staff with the training function
• Handle absence, grievances and disciplinary procedures fairly
• Foster strong relationships between drivers, managers and stakeholders for smooth operations
• Ensure service reliability and efficiency in daily depot operations
• Liaise with local authorities, media and external bodies for opportunities
• Promote high safety standards and ensure everyone goes home safely
