Demand Planner (Co. Antrim)

MCS Group is delighted to be partnering exclusively with a global leader in foodservice distribution to recruit multiple Demand Planners for their growing team in Northern Ireland. This is an exciting opportunity to join a world-class organisation with brilliant career development opportunities!

Responsibilities
  • Accurately forecast and order products to support sales and maximise availability.
  • Reduce excess stock holding while minimising mark-downs, waste, and overstocks.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers to ensure effective product supply.
  • Collaborate with management on promotions and forward buys.
  • Analyse sales data and reports to drive profitability and efficiency.
  • Support the replenishment function in achieving and exceeding targets.
Qualifications

We are seeking a proactive, organised, and analytical professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment. You will bring:

  • Strong numerical and analytical skills.
  • Excellent IT skills (Excel essential; ERP/MRP system experience desirable, with training provided).
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work cross-functionally.
  • A flexible, problem-solving mindset with the ability to work to tight deadlines.
  • Willingness to work weekends, bank holidays and outside of standard office hours when required.
