Whilst others might call you delivery drivers, here at Ocado Logistics our Customer Service Team Members play a vital role, delivering top quality products on time and in an efficient manner. You'll be out on the road whatever the weather, but you'll never have to fight over the radio station, and you can sing along as loud as you like! In return, we use our automated technology to pre‑plan your route and pre-load your van! Everyone likes their groceries at different times, so our working patterns will involve evenings and weekends in addition to weekdays – so on top of your base pay you will receive premiums that will increase your average hourly earnings to £13.95 per hour. You can also stack your earnings further with enhanced overtime to fund those special occasions! All your breaks are paid, meaning for every minute at work you get paid. That’s a great deal! (Everyone’s shifts will vary but more information is included in the contract details below).

Requirements

So what do we need from you?

You don’t need any previous experience to join our good‑natured team, just bring yourself and a positive attitude, and our amazing training team will do the rest!

But you will need the following:

• Full UK or EU driving licence
• Minimum of 6 months driving experience (12 months desirable)
• Maximum of 6 penalty points
• No driving disqualifications in the past 5 years
• Must be over 18 (some deliveries involve alcohol)
• Good communication skills (customer facing role)

Contract Details

• Contract type: Permanent
• Contract hours: 40 hours (including paid breaks)
• Contracted days: 5 out of 7 working 8‑hour shifts (details provided during pre‑boarding)
• Shifts: AM & PM – start as early as 05:30, finish as late as 24:00; shift rota up to 13 weeks in advance
• Pay structure: Lunar – paid every 4 weeks on a monthly schedule

Hourly Pay Rates

• Monday to Saturday (basic rate) – £13.44
• Evening premium (from 6 pm) – £1.12
• Sunday day premium – £1.34
• Sunday evening premium – £2.58
• Overtime rate Monday to Saturday (day shift) – £16.80
• Overtime rate Monday to Saturday (evening shift) – £18.20
