Job summary

Waitrose & Partners is looking for a Customer Delivery Driver in Thame, UK. You will start in-store, load and prepare deliveries, and drive to customers’ doors while exemplifying the Waitrose brand through outstanding service.

You will also support the shop team with daily tasks, ensure vehicle safety checks, and work with a friendly, customer-focused team in a role requiring 18+ age and a valid UK driving licence. Full-time, on-site position.

Qualifications

• Full UK manual driving licence (B category) with clean record.
• Strong customer service skills.
• Good time management and ability to work independently.
• Ability to handle the physical aspects of the role (lifting crates, moving crates).
• Self-motivated and adaptable, with basic IT literacy.

Responsibilities

• Review daily delivery routes and plan for the day.
• Load and prepare the van for deliveries and ensure orders are ready for customers.
• Perform vehicle safety checks and maintain road compliance and safety standards.
• Represent Waitrose on the road with a focus on excellent customer service.
• Assist customers with shopping and build rapport based on trust and service.
