Job summary

Waitrose & Partners in the UK is seeking Customer Delivery Drivers to bring Waitrose quality to customers’ doors with friendly, professional service. You’ll be on the road delivering groceries and supporting store tasks when not out on delivery.

Applicants must be 18+, hold a full UK manual driving licence (B), and have strong people skills. Some roles may require DBS checks; training is provided to ensure a smooth, safe delivery service.

Qualifications

• 18 years or older.
• Full, valid UK manual car driving licence (B-category) with no more than 6 penalty points.
• Excellent people skills and friendly approach to customer service.

Responsibilities

• Be a friendly face for the Waitrose brand while on the road, delivering great customer service.
• Chat with customers about changes to their order and arrange refunds quickly if needed.
• Handle products with care and ensure deliveries are accurate and safe.
• Explain to customers that substitutions won’t incur extra charges.
• Help customers with groceries and build trusting relationships.
• Familiarise yourself with daily delivery routes and perform safety checks on the van.
• Support the wider CFC team with warehouse tasks when off the road.
