Job summary

Waitrose & Partners is seeking a Customer Delivery Driver to bring quality Waitrose produce and Partner-led service to customers’ doors. You’ll also support the shop team with daily tasks, ensuring efficient operation and a friendly, welcoming environment for customers.

This role requires a full UK manual driving licence, good driving and customer service skills, and the ability to work independently with a positive, can-do attitude.

Qualifications

• Must hold a full UK manual driving licence (B category) with no more than 6 points.
• Excellent customer service skills.
• Good time management and reliability.
• Physically able to lift crates and handle heavy loads.
• Able to work independently and stay self-motivated.
• Basic IT literacy.

Responsibilities

• Check daily delivery routes.
• Load and prepare the van for deliveries and ensure orders are complete.
• Perform vehicle safety checks and stay road compliant.
• Represent the Waitrose brand with high-standard customer service.
• Assist customers with shopping and build rapport.
• Support shop team with general tasks when required.
