Job summary

Plumb Centre, part of the Wolseley Group, is recruiting for a Delivery Driver 3.5t in Dundee. You will perform multi-drop deliveries, build customer relationships, and support warehouse tasks from 07:30 to 16:30, Monday to Friday. A Full UK Driving Licence is essential and a positive team player is required.

The role offers a permanent part-time contract (40 hours/week) with a base salary of £26,795 plus bonus and competitive benefits including pension and healthcare.

Qualifications

• Previous multidrop driving is advantageous.
• Prior warehouse experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Drive a 3.5t van delivering to customers with multi-drop runs in the local area.
• Build and maintain positive relationships with customers and represent the brand well.
• Perform daily vehicle, equipment and load checks; report defects and ensure health & safety compliance.
• Assist in loading/unloading deliveries as required and handle stock in the warehouse.
• Support warehouse duties when not delivering, including picking, packing and stock checks.

As a 3.5t Delivery Driver based in Dundee you’ll be responsible for:

• Driving a 3.5t van carrying out multi -drop deliveries to our customers in the local area - (This will involve manual handling heavy stock e.g. boilers, radiators, sinks and toilets)
• Building and maintaining excellent relationships with customers ensuring you are a positive ambassador of the brand
• Ensuring all aspects of Health and Safety are adhered to, carrying out a daily check on the vehicle, equipment and load for which you have responsibility and reporting any defects
• Loading and unloading deliveries where required
• When you are not out on deliveries you will be assisting in the warehouse with duties including unloading incoming stock, picking & packing orders, stock checks and general tidying

This is a permanent part time position working 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday 07:30am - 16:30pm.
