Job summary

Plumb Centre, part of the Wolseley Group, is seeking a Delivery Driver in Dundee to join our local team. The role involves multi-drop deliveries, customer liaison, and light warehouse tasks. You will be the face of the branch, ensuring safety checks and efficient service in a busy environment.

The ideal candidate will hold a Full UK driving licence, have MD driving experience, and be ready to support in all branch duties with a positive, proactive attitude.

Qualifications

• Full UK manual driving licence is essential.
• Multidrop driving experience is advantageous.
• Warehouse experience is preferred.
• Team player with a positive attitude and strong work ethic.
• Enthusiastic learner willing to help across the branch.

Responsibilities

• Drive a van delivering to customers in the local area, multi-drop.
• Build and maintain relationships with customers as a brand ambassador.
• Carry out daily vehicle checks and report defects.
• Load and unload deliveries as required.
• Assist in warehouse tasks when not out on deliveries.

As a Delivery Driver based in Dundee

• Driving a van carrying out multi -drop deliveries to our customers in the local area - (This will involve manual handling heavy stock boilers, radiators, sinks and toilets)
• Building and maintaining excellent relationships with customers ensuring you are a positive ambassador of the brand
• Ensuring all aspects of Health and Safety are adhered to, carrying out a daily check on the vehicle, equipment and load for which you have responsibility and reporting any defects
• Loading and unloading deliveries where required
• When you are not out on deliveries you will be assisting in the warehouse with duties including unloading incoming stock, picking & packing orders, stock checks and general tidying

This is a permanent part time position working 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday 07:30am - 16:30pm.
