Job summary

Tesco is seeking a Customer Delivery Driver to serve customers at their homes across the UK. The role involves hands-on driving, delivering great service with a smile and working independently with support from managers and colleagues.

Pay starts at £14.18 per hour, rising to £15.45 in stores within the M25, with a guaranteed minimum of 16 hours per week. Flexible shifts up to 12+ hours are available across various locations.

Qualifications

• Be warm and welcoming with customers and colleagues.
• Hold a valid UK/EU driving licence for at least 12 months with no more than 3 penalty points.
• Respond quickly to changing customer needs while on the road and in store.
• Deliver a friendly, helpful service and handle order changes smoothly.

Responsibilities

• Keep van, trays and work area clean, tidy and organised for accurate delivery.
• Load the van safely and perform checks to ensure roadworthiness.
• Explain order changes and substitutions to customers and process refunds when needed.
• Handle products with care to maintain quality and customer trust.
• Deliver within the customer's time slot with warm doorstep service.
