Job summary

Booker Group is seeking a Debt Collector to join the Finance team based in Deeside. You will proactively manage and recover outstanding customer debt, working with customers to agree repayment arrangements and ensuring debts are resolved efficiently.

• Experience in debt collection or recoveries.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Proactive in negotiating repayment plans and resolving cases.

Responsibilities

• Proactively chasing outstanding debt via phone, email, letters and text.
• Negotiate repayment plans with customers.
• Process payments through online system.
• Manage queries and provide high level customer service.
• Decide when to refer cases for legal action with Legal team.
• Maintain diary and workload efficiently.
• Prepare period-end reports and reconciliations.
• Reconcile Bad Debt GL accounts at period end.
• Support wider Debt Collection team.
