Job summary

Bristow & Sutor Group's Credit Style division, based north of Sheffield, is seeking a focused Debt Recovery Advisor to join our on-site team. You will make and receive calls to recover outstanding debts, log conversations, and negotiate repayment plans with customers and businesses.

We require at least 2 years in collections or call-centre roles, excellent verbal and written communication, and comfort with targets. An engaging workplace with on-site parking and bonus opportunities awaits.

Qualifications

• Call centre or debt collection experience preferred.
• Minimum 2 years in collections, debt recovery or sales.
• Clear and confident verbal and written communication.
• Comfortable working to targets to increase earnings.
• Willingness to discuss debts, disputes and affordability.
• Strong IT skills to learn multiple systems.

Responsibilities

• Make and receive telephone calls to recover outstanding debts.
• Work within a dialler system to contact customers.
• Handle difficult conversations professionally.
• Enter conversations and repayment agreements into the database.
• Record customer affordability accurately to ensure sustainable repayments.
• Follow debt collection processes and comply with quality guidelines.
• Aim to meet personal and team targets.
