Smartest Energy UK is seeking a proactive Debt Management Team Lead to manage a team of Debt Executives, driving performance, service quality and achieving operational targets. You will coach, mentor and manage workloads to balance capacity and address challenges.

This fixed-term role until 27/09/2027 offers hybrid working and opportunities to influence process improvements and cross-functional collaboration across UK offices.

Qualifications

• Experience leading a debt management or similar team.
• Strong leadership and coaching skills.
• Proven ability to build cross-functional relationships.
• Knowledge of the UK Energy Industry.
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop the Debt Executives team to meet performance targets and deliver high-quality customer service.
• Drive process improvements and ensure accurate reporting and compliance.
• Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to implement best practices.
• Support business change initiatives and balance workloads to address operational challenges.
