Job summary

ELP Consult Ltd. in Chiswick Park, United Kingdom, seeks a senior sales strategy leader to deliver the UK sales plan and oversee the Sales Training function with three direct reports.

You will define strategy, objectives, KPIs, and communicate progress to the network and management. You must have extensive experience delivering programmes to a franchised dealer network, strong management skills, and be an expert in all Microsoft Office packages.

Qualifications

• More than 5 years of work experience in automotive OEM, network-facing, with performance management responsibility.
• Understanding of franchised retailer operations.
• Ability to build relationships at all levels, internally and externally.
• Experience at managing supplier relationships is a plus.
• Excellent management skills with the ability to lead a successful team.
• Ability to be nimble and shift priorities as needed.
• Proven ability to innovate and provide bespoke solutions to problems.
• High proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.

Responsibilities

• Be responsible for all retailer performance levers, such as variable margin and escalation process.
• Define sales strategy and communicate to the retailer network through video, email and live webinars.
• Analyse retailer reports and tools to identify site-by-site gaps, opportunities and financial upside, translating insight into action plans.
• Produce regular and ad-hoc performance reporting for senior stakeholders with data integrity.
• Create monthly updates on progress of key objectives to the network and senior management.
• Review KPIs and adjust as necessary.
• Be point of contact for suppliers and manage tender processes for renewals.
• Manage a team of three professional sales trainers and report activity to senior management.
• Visit key retailer partners to ensure understanding of the strategy and gather feedback.
• Undertake ad-hoc tasks as directed.
