Job summary

Roseberry Care Centres is seeking a caring Care Assistant at Hamilton House, Buckingham. You will assist residents with personal care, meals, and daily activities to promote independence and improve quality of life.

We offer ongoing training, a supportive team across 25 homes, and genuine progression opportunities in a compassionate elderly care environment. Visa sponsorship is not available.

Qualifications

• NVQ2 in Adult Health and Social Care preferred
• Minimum 1 year of care experience
• Excellent communication and empathy
• Genuine passion for elderly care and teamwork
• Ability to follow instructions and work as part of a team

Salary: £13.20 Per Hour

Hours: 33-44/Week – Day shift with alternate weekends

Your Role:

As a Care Assistant you will support our residents in their day to day lives including providing personal care, social activities, and meals times to promote independence and maximise their quality of life.

You’ll be responsible for:

• Assist with washing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and continence care
• Help with mobility and transfers
• Offer companionship and a friendly presence
• Support mental and emotional well-being
• Observe and report changes in a client’s physical or emotional condition

What We’re Looking For:

• Ideally have an NVQ2 in Adult Health and Social Care
• A minimum of 1 years’ experience in Care although this is not essential
• Excellent communication, listening and empathy skills
• A genuine passion for elderly care and team development
• Ability to follow instructions and work as part of a team
