Job summary

Roseberry Care Centres in the United Kingdom is seeking a Care Assistant to support our residents with personal care, meals and daily activities. You will help promote independence and quality of life in a compassionate, person-centred environment.

The role is based at Cameron House in Bury, offering 33 hours per week with night shifts and alternate weekends, at a rate of £13.45 per hour. Visa sponsorship is not available. We value kindness, inclusivity and team development across 25 homes.

Qualifications

• NVQ2 in Adult Health and Social Care is preferred or required.
• 1 year of care experience is desirable, not essential.
• Excellent communication, listening and empathy skills are required.

Responsibilities

• Assist with washing, dressing, grooming, toileting and continence care.
• Help with mobility and transfers.
• Offer companionship and a friendly presence.
• Support residents' mental and emotional well-being.
• Observe and report changes in a resident's condition.

Your Role:

As a Care Assistant you will support our residents in their day to day lives including providing personal care, social activities, and meals times to promote independence and maximise their quality of life.

You’ll be responsible for:

• Assist with washing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and continence care
• Help with mobility and transfers
• Offer companionship and a friendly presence
• Support mental and emotional well-being
• Observe and report changes in a client’s physical or emotional condition

What We’re Looking For:
