Just Eat Takeaway.com is seeking a Platform Engineer for the Batch Data Tools team within the Global Intelligence Platforms organisation. You will help design and evolve Mobius, our internal unified analytics platform that powers data workloads at scale across the business.

You will own components enabling batch processing on a Kubernetes-native data platform. We value a collaborative, growth-oriented mindset with a focus on delivering reliable data products and driving operational excellence

Formación

• Strong coding skills in Python/Java/Scala and production-grade software at scale.

Responsabilidades

• Design and build batch and data processing capabilities on the Mobius platform to high reliability and maintainability.
• Evolve Mobius platform capabilities and shape scalable architecture decisions.
• Translate data requirements into production-ready data solutions.
• Set up observability for data workloads including monitoring, alerting, and logging; lead incident response.
• Participate in code reviews to raise engineering standards and share knowledge.
• Collaborate across the Global Intelligence Platforms org and external teams to deliver measurable value.
• Identify tooling and process improvements to ease on-boarding of new data products.
• Support team planning and break down complex problems into achievable goals.
