Job summary

Ventula Consulting Ltd. is seeking a Data & Migration Lead to build the data foundation for an ERP transformation covering Finance, HR, and Procurement.

You will map data across two legacy estates and drive cleansing for a single cloud ERP platform. You will collaborate with Phase 0 partners and data engineers to document schemas, create migration maps, and extend inventories to include customer, HR, payroll, and banking systems.

Qualifications

• 8+ years in data migration or governance on ERP programmes.
• Data modelling and profiling at volume with hands-on SQL and analysis tools.
• Oracle E-Business Suite and Microsoft Dynamics NAV data models.
• On-premise to cloud ERP and HCM migration experience.
• Match-and-merge rules and golden records across merged estates.
• Knowledge of data structures that enable AI in ERP.
• UK and EU GDPR knowledge for HR and payroll data, incl. special-category data.
• HR, Finance and Procurement concepts with autonomy and stakeholder interviewing skills.
• Post-merger dual-estate, cross-border data considerations (EU/UK) and related systems may be desirable.

Responsibilities

• Confirm in-scope objects; verify partner counts and catalogues.
• Document schemas across estates and target ERP; create migration maps and flag gaps.
• Extend inventory to customer, HR, payroll and banking systems; include spreadsheets and Access databases.
• Document volumes and interview stakeholders to capture field usages and local customisations.
• Write match-and-merge rules for one master record per entity with e-invoicing identifiers.
• Agree data protection approach for profiling, test loads and AI trials; assign owner per object and maintain a scorecard.
• Build migration pipelines for high-risk objects and align scores before implementation.
• Set history per object and map object flows between systems; drive cleansing in remediation plan order.
• Specify AI-ready data structures and supply anonymised data sets to AI Experimentation.
