Job Description

As a Test Engineer within our Data Operations team, you\'ll play a key role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our cloud-based data solutions. We\'re looking for someone who\'s passionate about testing, automation, and continuous improvement - and who thrives in a diverse and inclusive environment.

Responsibilities

• Supporting and evolving a robust data testing strategy
• Designing and maintaining automated and reusable test solutions
• Leveraging cloud platforms to validate data accuracy and performance
• Developing tools and artefacts to support structural, functional and non-functional testing
• Collaborating with developers and analysts to identify and resolve data issues
• Feeding back test results and insights to improve data quality and processes
• Contributing to planning and prioritisation of testing activities
• Promoting fairness and value for all customers through rigorous testing

Qualifications

• Familiarity with Python for scripting and database integration is essential
• Understanding of SQL, DDL, DML and experience with test automation
• Analytical mindset with the ability to identify data anomalies and root causes
• Experience with cloud data platforms such as Snowflake or SQL Server
• Knowledge of testing techniques across the data lifecycle
• Strong communication skills and ability to work with cross-functional teams
• A collaborative approach and commitment to continuous improvement
• Relevant qualifications or experience in software/data testing (e.g. ISTQB)
