Job summary

Bimplus is seeking a Shift Manager to oversee building services on a prestigious banking data centre contract in Hounslow. You will lead day-to-day shift operations, manage Planned Preventative Maintenance and Reactive tasks, and drive the department's strategy with a focus on KPI delivery.

Applicants should have Electrical or Mechanical qualifications and prior data centre or critical environment experience, with strong leadership and communication skills to operate under pressure and ensure

Qualifications

Electrical or Mechanical qualifications from a recognised institution (NVQ or C&G).
Experience in Data Centre or Critical Environment operations.
Ability to manage shifting teams and meet client KPIs.

Responsibilities

Oversee Planned Preventative Maintenance and Reactive tasks for site assets.
Maintain records for Health & Safety, Building Compliance and Quality Assurance.
Coordinate sub-contractors and enforce safety and quality on site.
Operate Permit to Work system in line with procedures and client requirements.
Monitor plant conditions via BMS/Ignition to maintain acceptable environments.
Prepare method statements and risk assessments for tasks.
Conduct weekly timesheets and oversee shift engineers' performance.
