Job summary

JLL is seeking a Shift Leader in Slough to manage the site-based engineering team responsible for critical facilities, including MEP assets and safety-compliant operations. The role focuses on effective inspection, operation, and maintenance of all assets within the data centre environment.

The ideal candidate will have HV/LV Authorised Person status, 5+ years in critical environments, and strong leadership and communication skills to coordinate with clients and vendors while driving safe,

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years in critical environments (data centres / banking HQ).
• Authorised Person for HV and LV.
• Electrical/Mechanical Engineering HNC or HND.
• C&G Pts. 1 & 2 and 18th Edition IET.
• Strong communication and leadership abilities.

Responsibilities

• Supervise site engineering team and coordinate tasks.
• Operate all facility systems incl. HV/LV switching and report findings.
• Maintain and review MEP assets compliance with regulations.
• Plan and support vendor works with change management.
• Ensure SLA adherence and manage CMMS work orders.
• Attend client meetings and provide risk reporting.
• Lead continuous improvement of safe systems of work.
