Job summary

CBW Staffing Solutions Ltd is seeking a Shift Engineer for a critical data centre in Slough. The role is electrically biased and requires a strong background in building maintenance within a data centre environment.

You will work a continental shift pattern, 06:00–18:00 and 18:00–06:00, with responsibilities spanning PPM, reactive maintenance, safety records and client liaison. Salary is £52,400 per year with progression and training opportunities.

Qualifications

• Electrically qualified to oversee maintenance and safety.
• Proven track record in building maintenance and facility management.
• Strong leadership and team management capabilities.
• Knowledge of UPS, generators, power distribution and HVAC systems.

Responsibilities

• Oversee Planned Preventative Maintenance and reactive maintenance for client assets.
• Maintain accurate records for Health & Safety, compliance and quality assurance.
• Manage sub-contractor performance and approvals on site.
• Lead shift team and ensure tasks are completed safely and efficiently.
• Develop client relationships and drive continuous improvement.
