Job summary

Jones Lang LaSalle Incorporated seeks a Shift Leader for a Data Centre in Slough. You will lead the engineering shift team, oversee MEP assets, and manage risk with a focus on safe operations of HV/LV systems.

Required 5+ years in critical environments, HV/LV authorised person, and strong electrical/mechanical engineering background. The role involves on-site leadership, vendor coordination, and regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years' experience in Critical Environments such as large data centres or banking HQ.
• Authorised Person for HV/LV operations and stringent safety practices.
• Relevant electrical/mechanical engineering qualifications and BS 7671 knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate on-site engineering team and MEP tasks.
• Operate facility systems including HV/LV switching with safety and efficiency.
• Plan and support specialist vendor works with Change Management approval.
• Ensure compliance with SLAs and prepare concise technical reports.
• Lead shift handovers, attend client and operations meetings, and report risks.
