Job summary

CBRE is seeking a Data Centre Shift Manager for Slough to lead shift teams across planned and reactive maintenance at the client data centre sites. You will act as the on-shift CBRE representative, coordinate incident response, and ensure safety and compliance across critical building systems.

The role requires experience in data centres or critical engineering environments, plus strong leadership and supplier management skills.

Qualifications

• HVAP appointment is required.
• Demonstrable incident management experience.
• Experience in a Data Centre or critical engineering environment.
• Experience managing supplier relationships.
• Strong commercial acumen and cost awareness.
• Proven leadership of shift teams and operational staff.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership to ensure contractual commitments are met and exceeded.
• Maintain healthy and safe working conditions per health and safety policy.
• Ensure control systems meet statutory, policy and contractual commitments.
• Own the Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) plan and ensure delivery on schedule.
• Supervise works by CBRE staff or subcontractors in line with CBRE procedures.
• Oversee operation, maintenance and repair of M&E systems, building fabric and infrastructure.
• Liaise with client on a shift basis and act as CBRE's representative during incidents.
